Description

This plant is a nightblooming waterlily in the hydrocallis subgenus of the genus nymphaea. It is often used in aquariums for its colourful underwater foliage. Its flowers open for only a few hours every evening, somewhere between 19:00 and 21:00. Flowers are white, with an intense red center.
