Description

Tropical day-blooming Anecphya hybrid with blue outer petals (RHS 93B (Strong Violet)) and white (RHS 157B (Pale Yellowish Green)) inner petals. Flowers measure 16-18cm (6-7”) in diameter with 50-52 petals per bloom. Flowers are held 70-75cm (27.5-29.5”) above the water’s surface. Plant grows up to 2.6m (8.5’) in diameter. Leaves are yellow-green (RHS RHS 144A (Strong Yellowish Green)) on top and greyed-purple (RHS RHS 186C (Dark Purplish Pink)) underneath.

    Distinct: Resembles N. ‘Tuonta’, but the plant grows larger and the blooms have a higher petal count with red stamens.
